Professionally-printed PP box closure tape

Box closure tape printed with your own company logo, slogan or image is an ideal, and economical, way to give your mailed boxes and packages a professional finishing touch and make them stand out from the crowd. Our low-noise tape made of PP-acrylic (polypropylene) tape, also known as PP silent tape, is perfect for printing. We can print your box closure tape in up to three colours when you order just 36 or more rolls. And, thanks to the short delivery time, just 15 working days after you approve the print proof you will have your printed box closure tape in house.

Super quiet and environmentally-responsible

This practical PP box closure tape with a water-based acrylic adhesive layer is prepared for printing using a corona treatment: a high frequency charge disrupts the tape’s surface molecules to improve the adhesion between the plastic and the ink. Thanks to the treatment the tape can also be unrolled silently. Water-based acrylic adhesive is also environmentally-responsible. The tape has low adhesion-strength on initial application but adheres more firmly the longer it remains in place. Use the 50 mm wide tape to seal boxes and packages either manually or with a box closing machine. With their length of 66 meters, these rolls of tape are ideal for professional use in a webshop, shop, warehouse, cash-and-carry and mailroom. As PP box closure tape can be used at temperatures between minus 15 and plus 40 degrees Celsius it remains firmly in place even when the temperature fluctuates.

Printing in up to three colours

As a basis you can opt for transparent, white or brown box closure tape. Your printing will be on the top surface of the tape, can be in up to three colours and the content of your printed design is entirely up to you. The corona treatment has a low-noise effect on the tape, but not on the printed areas. When handling the tape be aware that the printing is not abrasion-resistant and will peel-off after six to eight months because the effect of the corona treatment will have worn-off. When printing PP tape we also advise you not to opt for reversed out or all-over printing with bleed because printing right on the edge of the tape is easily damaged and because the structure of the adhesive (fish eyes) will adversely affect the appearance of the printing. Instead we recommend your design is a maximum of 47 mm wide.

After you have uploaded your vector file(s) as a PDF, EPS or AI, we will produce a print-proof for you. Within two working days you will receive a preview that you can approve by e-mail. As soon as we have a definite ‘go ahead’ from you we will start production.
