This box of Geami WrapPak EX Mini paper filling material from Ranpak is, in fact, a complete protective packaging system – a dispenser box already loaded with the required rolls of paper. The system provides a perfect protective packaging solution by combining the four key packaging techniques: cushioning, filling, fixing and wrapping. As the compact box takes up very little space you can stand it right where you wrap products for shipping and go straight to work. And when the box is empty simply dismantle it and dispose of the paper and plastic components in the relevant recycling bin.

Soft tissue paper and protective Kraft paper

The dispenser box contains two rolls of paper - one roll of strong brown Kraft paper with a honeycomb structure and one roll of white tissue paper. Both rolls are 134 meters long. The box incorporates a cutting edge so you can tear-off the required length of material while wrapping without having to use a knife or scissors. Geami WrapPak EX Mini is ideal for wrapping breakable or delicate products such as glassware, porcelain or electronic components. When the die-cut Kraft paper is pulled out of the dispenser box it expands to form a 3D open-honeycomb structure that provides perfect cushioning from shocks and knocks while, at the same time, allowing the product to ‘breathe’.

This is how the dispenser box works

Take the dispenser box out of its outer packaging and peel off the two strips of white tape covering the double-sided adhesive tape on the bottom. Stand the dispenser box in its permanent position on the workbench, with the roll of white tissue paper uppermost and the closed side towards you, and press it down firmly so it is held firmly in place. You can also use a bracket to hold the box in place on the table. Pull equal lengths of tissue paper and Kraft paper through the slot until they are lying on the workbench. Roll the double layer of paper around the fragile product so it is securely enclosed and then use the cutting edge to tear off both sheets from the rolls. Seal the sides of the package by tucking the loose edges of the paper around the product and through each other so they hold in place without any tape being needed. Then all you need to do is insert the wrapped product in the shipping box or package: the combination of soft tissue paper and honeycomb Kraft paper will ensure your fragile product is effectively protected.
