Transparent, recyclable vacuum bags


Vacuum bags make ideal packaging for the chilled storage of fresh food such as fish, raw meat and poultry and cooked meats. Because the bags prevent any contact with oxygen, the natural moisture level, colour, aroma, taste, freshness and quality of the contents are preserved for longer. Thanks to the transparent material you can see at a glance what is in the bag. And after use the VAC95+ vacuum bags are totally recyclable.

Versatile side-sealed bags


These versatile, food-safe flat bags are sealed on both sides. They are easy to fill and vacuum seal, they freeze well and their 85 micron thickness makes them both supple and strong.

Three layers of food protection


The material from which the flat bags are made comprises a layer of ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) – a plastic barrier material – sandwiched between two layers of polypropylene (PP). EVOH’s excellent barrier properties for oxygen and other gases and volatile products makes it a very suitable packaging for food because it protects rotting and extends shelf-life and is also very resistant to water and condensation. As a result, a thin layer of EVOH is often used to ‘stick’ two layers of another material, such as PP, together.
