Brown jute string


This robust, 100% jute string will instantly give your gift packaging a more sustainable look. The decorative string doesn’t just look and feel natural, it is natural, which means it fits in perfectly with today’s ethos. The natural-brown string is supplied on a handy spool holding 100 metres and is very easy to use.

Versatile


Decorative jute string is rugged, stylish, strong yet soft and extremely versatile. Tie the string around a gift wrapped in basic kraft paper, beautiful gift-wrapping paper or transparent gift film, use it to hang a printed cardboard label or tag with a personal, hand-written message around a gift packaging or the neck of a bottle, or use it instead of tape to securely close a package. You can also use it to attach a wooden ornament, decorative corsage of even a spray of flowers or leaves that fits the occasion.

Made from jute plant fibres


Jute is grown in rice paddies as a rotation crop that improves the soil. The stems are cut close to the ground then soaked so the softened fibres in the bark can be separated, washed, dried and tied in bundles. Jute is an ideal natural basic material for weaving into bags, sacks, string and other products that need to be sturdy. Products that are 100% jute are totally biodegradable.
