The DateCodeGenie Lite is the ideal portable labelling system for creating, downloading and printing food labels in kitchens and (mobile) sales outlets. The flexible two-component printer system makes contact with an online platform on which you can quickly and easily design your own labels. Download your design, print the labels wherever you are and you can immediately ensure your products carry all the required food (safety) information. This compact labelling system is the perfect solution for small food processing companies and kitchens with limited space, such as in fresh produce shops, caterers and hospitality businesses. It is also the solution for outlets on location (such as food trucks), to-go and take-away establishments and delivery services.

Compact and flexible in use

This Lite model comprises a small thermal printer for labels with a width of 50 mm (2 inches) and 75 mm (3 inches) plus a portable, full-colour touchscreen (tablet) on which you can design your labels. The tablet is supplied in a reinforced, protective silicone case. The drag & drop label design system makes designing your labels extremely easy, fast and flexible. It means you can print small, simple labels with only the product name and ‘use by’ date. Or you can print larger labels that carry more information, such as the EAN code, a QR code, prices, ingredients, allergen information and even storage information or preparation instructions. You can also increase recognition of your company and/or brand by including your logo on the label. Rolls of labels (permanent and removable) are also available separately.

Printer with access to a design platform

When you purchase the user-friendly DateCodeGenie Lite you receive the compact printer, the tablet, the associated software and access to the online platform on which you can design and then download your labels. Special software from the supplier, NCCO Foodservice Solutions, is necessary to use the printer. As soon as you order the labelling system from us you will be given access to the most up-to-date version of this software so you can download and install it at your own location.
